I'm glad im not the only one growing frustrated with Crosby. He's become such a crybaby. I hate saying that. He is the best player in the game, but the Pens will never advance to where they want to be until he learns how to stop whining to the official and taking a stupid penalty when the refs dont call something. Its the NHL, the refs are lousy, we all know that. Somehow, Crosby expects them to get every call right and doesnt know how to act when they dont. You'd like to think Mario could set him straight on this one.

Careful with your words here: too many Crosby suck ups and Geno bashers. They will say they aren't but trust me, they are.

And that's the thing, it's not a personnel issue (their best periods this year have been not just good, but superlative), it's a 60 minute issue and a play-to-play issue. They've been burned by lapses and carelessness. Those things are fixable.

I'm really anxious to see the In the Room (assuming they continue) from this week. What is Johnston like in the locker room during times of adversity? How does he work to keep the pedal on the metal?

It is nice to see some of the "behind the scenes" stuff, but they have complete control of the message they want to send in those.

Now if it was HBO's 24/7 and the Penguins had no say in what was broadcast, that would be quite interesting and actually revealing.

gosh i wish flyers would pick up scuds...does anyone know anything else about this or just the mention in tiops.

i dont think martin would go to any team in the east and i dont think we want him to go to any team in the east. hes pretty good and would prob be a pain in our side for the next couple years

i hope james neal doesnt light us up tonight, that would be embarrassing

This is all of your three wishes. Be careful what you wish for. Just wish for a cup, then you still have two left.

I wonder if Hörnqvist will be willing to get his nose dirt in front of his former friends (Weber & Co). This is the kind of game Neal's style could give him more space if you don't put someone to keep him in check (Downie/Sill/Comeau all night long would be cool)

i think neal hattie the other night was an exception not the rule. he was like that for us, very streaky....how ever he would love nothin more that to get back at jr. im with ya, drape someone on his back and he will lose his cool and take some dumb penalties.

if we moved scuds and martin, brought up pouliot, played botz. we would have a butt load of cap space for whom ever we picked up from martin and i think our defense would be just fine!

Does anyone else here love Blake Comeau as much as I do? I think he was a very solid pickup. He is physical, only 28, aggressive, and has some skill. I can see him putting up career numbers this year.

Comeau has really impressed me! Spaling does all the things right. Good pick up as well! Downie can be replaced by someone else but he's been OK so far.

Comeau can get a few top 6 shifts and that's the beauty

He's the best top 6 option we have outside of BB returning. Id actually like to see him with Sid and, dare I say, move horny to malkin a line with duper. I love horny, but neither him or Kunitz can skate " with the " puck. It's too easy to defend. Horny had a tuff time taking a pass on the rush entering the neutral zone or carrying the puck. We need speed as well. Kunitz isn't much better, but he makes nice short touch passes to Sid.
