They could try to put Nick Foles on the 2nd pair.

Not a bad idea, but you know it would take 1 period before those horse teeth get knocked out.

Well Cobrun clearly has a cooler name than Coburn

Haha, I didn't even realize that. I assume this is the guy:

Who would you put on your 4 "point" spots right now?
- jmatchett383

Streit and Voracek stay put on 1st unit.

I'd go with Del Zotto and Couturier (though he's never had much success on the PP point) on the second unit.

Does this finally mean L. Schenn is no longer the # 6 dman? I mean he's not going to still be bringing up the rear in ice time right? RIGHT?

I felt really bad for Modry. He was playing with a heavy heart with his grandfather on his mind every game but...man, he just wasn't good at all.

What about putting Read back there? He doesn't have much of a point shot, but he's fairly responsible with the puck and has the speed to recover in case of a miscue?

Coots on the back end scares me a bit.

His forward skating is only average. I'd be afraid if he had to backpedal in a hurry.

Murray has been using him on power plays because he likes his shot and wants him to develop it more. I don't seen Alt on an NHL power play right now, though.

If those are our choices, I can see why Hextall is being so coy about what the plan is.

He must be seriously considering bringing up Gostisbehere.
