You mean the orange safety cone who has been playing well for multiple games?

You can't ice Ghost, Streit and MDZ together, too soft and very thin on the PK. Plus do you really want to toss an undersized rookie with less than a dozen pro games on his resume into this poop show?

i totally agree on all counts.

but i still think the masses begin to bleat.

Tatar and Datsyuk and Zetterberg Sat against this D group should be highly entertaining, with Tampa next

I'm not saying Schultz is going to excel playing with lesser teammates vs better competition. But to call him a traffic cone based on his recent stretch of more than satisfactory level of play seems unreasonable to me

I like the idea of bringing up guys like Alt and Manning now to see if they are ready.

Everyone who wants to see what the team will look like without Coburn and AMac now gets their wish.

And for Saturday, they'll be without Rinaldo and Lecavalier.

So, basically, the top 4 scapegoats on the team are gonna be out this Saturday. I'm sure no one will have any thing to complain about, right?

He played well in Pittsburgh, but other than that he has been below average from my standpoint.

If Brayden Schenn and Luke Schenn get hurt then we really have zero players to blame for anything.

Agreed on bringing up the young guys. My initial reaction to Coburn and MacDonald being out was "wow they screwed". Second was at least we get to see one of the young guys

He's out played Luke Schenn for sure (not that it isn't hard to do).

As a guy who was brought in the to be the 7th defenseman, he has played above his expectations pretty consistently. He's not a game changer, but I feel much more comfortable with him on the second pairing with a guy like Manning/Alt/MDZ than I do using Schenn and MDZ as a second pairing

In brighter news, for a mere $360 you can bid on a game worn Travis Sanheim autographed jersey with the money going toward the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

Disagree with that. I thought he's played well in all but two games -- one of which was the Chicago game where everyone on the Flyers left a lot to be desired.
