Ott is a dirty POS
- NedsHead_88

Don't try and crosscheck him in the back of the head when he's down, he doesn't retaliate. Blackhawks play dirty, then whine because Blues stick up for themselves.

That was Ott retaliating to the cheap shot by the crybaby versteeg that was out there for the next shift after the power play. That was embellishment if I've ever seen it.

Hey Boys. Nice game. Blues deserved the win and had the better of the play.

I was here earlier so figured I'd come back which is more than I can say for most of you (excluding StLJam, Carcus and Cutthenoise, might be missing someone else) from this past summer's playoff series.

I remember quite a few Blues fans in the Hawk thread chest thumping and talking a lot of shyte after the Blues went up 2-0 in the playoffs in June. Surprisingly, almost all of you (particularly the bigger meatballs) mysteriously vanished from the Hawk site with each ensuing Hawk win.

Anyway, congrats on the win!

Til next time...

definite embellishment but ott should know better than to take a stupid penalty at that time. it was a penalty and then the embellishment was ridiculous

I'm surprised Steeger was able to keep a straight face while he was rolling around on the ground. Let's call it a make up for Jackman cross checking Richards square in the numbers along the boards.

Exactly what I said at the game. Really dumb penalty. You cannot take that penalty, especially as a so called veteran leader,

Steeger was channeling the ghost of federov there. It was so bad. I'd have given him the 2 minutes after a while. He even faked going down the runaway

Still wondering how there wasn't a call there. The call on Jackman was perplexing. Let the guy hold him, then let Jackman drop an elbow to the head without a call, let him hold Jackman some more, then finally call jackman when he pushes him. So odd. The elbow Jackman through was the worst of it but the way they called it was so weird.

Did you guys notice what looked like Carcillo trying to kick Jackman in the first? Karma thought did come into my mind later.

The Jackman call I was referring to was in the 2nd when he cross checked Richards between the numbers head first into the boards with a ref standing right there and no call. And it wasn't any bs where Richards turned to avoid a hit. He had his back to Jackman and was facing the play.

It was textbook, yet no call.

I was talking about that one in my first sentence. Don't understand how there wasn't a call there....

The rest was on the play behind the net in the first. I should have separated my text into two paragraphs.

Should have been 3 to 0 in the first ten minutes easy. made 3 or 4 ridiculously good stops early. He didn't read the out challenge on Versteeg's goal well at all but there were so many mental mistakes on that play by Reaves, Lapierre and cole it wasn't even funny.
