I didn't realize but its nice to know I'm not the only one accused of hating people I never specifically said I hated.

I don't hate the guy, but the mentality of playing him over a proven player like Williams bothers me.

IMO there was a reason he was cut by 3 other teams, and frankly I'm not sure I trust the Bills judgment over any other 3 NFL teams.

If he continues to play well, hey i'll be on board

- sbroads24

Stewart is lazy, always has been and always will be. He's wasting his chances IMO.

Enroth has always been streaky though. He's playing well right now, but he's going to have a couple spells where many of us are going to want to trade him yesterday. That's how it always is with him. You are correct in saying that the fatigue from getting outshot this badly also plays a role though.
- buffalofan19

Streaky, I'll give you that but when the guy ahead of you plays 65/70 games a year its hard to find a groove and rust could be perceived as streaky. Goaltenders don't hit their prime until their late 20s so I'll reserve judgement on Enroth until he plays a full season as the #1. If he plays 50-60 games this year facing 40 shots a night who knows, it could do wonders for him going into next year and he could be a Lundquivst light and be a solid 1B at the very least for the next few years.

He didn't fully understand the position yet. That's something he spent a lot of time working on and it's really apparent that he's come a long way.

Plus, he's a good special teamer and Williams is not. That's why if they have to list one or the other inactive, it's probably going to be Williams.

IMO, there's got to be another guy on the roster somewhere that would be more appropriate to list as inactive other than Williams, but I'm just a fan so what do I know.

Does not like and HATE are two different things. You sure you don't post under the account Herzeleid as well?

I hated the hire from day 1. To me it reeked of a PR move and showed that this franchise can't get out of its own way. It always has to bring in "one of their own" despite the fact that this franchise's track record of winning is virtually non-existent. Granted, they finally started to get out of that funk by hiring Murray, and we'll see where that ends up, but I wanted a fresh start from day 1.

And I've stated it before, as long as certain people continue to take the low road with name calling, the hypocritical "you just think you're smarter than the brass", and my personal favorite, bashing what I do for a living, I'm going to continue beating the so-called dead horse.

I'm not complaining about this team being bad. I'm refuting the notion that Nolan was going to "get" to certain players.
- buffalofan19

Nolan is the man. Perfect coach. Hates playing kids. Loves tweeners and hates analytics.
What other coach would u rather have to tank a season

FFS am I the only one who doesn't want nor like the notion of a tank? Its a disgusting ethic and lowers your credibility as a fan.

I like Nolan, I'm sure he is a nice guy but it seems to me like he just barely got by (got away) with his style in the 90s and Murray seems to know what he's doing to make this team his by keeping him around at this point.

I'm undecided about whether I want them to bring Pysyk back. I think he deserves to be in the NHL, but at the same time this team is so bad I'd rather keep him with the team that's going to have a decent amount of success this year.
- HonkFortheGoose

Had this same conversation with a friend last night. I didnt want them to tank but was expecting it. This teams on a whole neither level. No good is coming from this and sadly id like to keep the amerks players in the roc. Schaller, Grigo, Carrier, McCabe, Rudy and Armia have played great together. As corny has it sounds the sabres dont look like theyre even having fun playing together (which makes them depressing to watch)

For the record I didn't want any part of a Tank either, it does nothing to teach these young kids how to be better players and losing like we are now is not helping at all. I know we won't or wouldn't make the playoffs but what is going on now is hurting more then it is helping. McDavid or not, Tanking is not the answer.

Using my logic: You are a frustrated fan who wants to see a new approach (see: Me). I completely agree, its a PR move to keep the fanbase happy while we suck because of Buffalo's love for Nostalgia. I like the Murray hire but he's obviously using Nolan to further his own agenda.

Using certain other people's logic: WHY DO YOU HATE TED NOLAN HE'S A NICE GUY! You hate the hire, that rite there tells me you hate Nolan.

18 wins in 69 games if I read the story right. 10 regulation.
What other reason than the tank is there.
He hates playing youth.. This team will be all about youth.

Good. No one should be happy with this season even if I give them a mulligan on last season. This team is an embarrassment but I think GM TM is the right guy for the next couple decades.

I agree with what you are saying however, he knew the deal when he signed for 3 years. If he didn't want a youth movement he shouldn't have signed the contract. I don't mind Nolan and I also think this won't last how we are playing now, it will get better.

There is no way you TANK for 1 player I don't care how good he is, this is a team and not a 1 player team, no matter how much we need him.
