I swear, it's to make sure we don't have to waive strait. - Isles_since_6
Actually, I thought Strait had his best game of the season. |

what a difference positional goaltending makes. I love Halak but with this kid in net tonight there was a certain confidence from a fans view that I have not felt in decades. |

Can I be the first to re-hash the "fire the trainers because players get hurt" complaint? Can I? Can I? - eichiefs9
If it were pulled groins every night id allow it. |

Switch grabovski and lee. - Isles_since_6
The way grabo was playing its hard to argue that. Either him or lee would be worth a shot imo. |

I agree. The Isles may be in the enviable situation where their goalies are 1 and 1A. You can just go with the hot goalie.........like in the old days of Smitty and Chico. |

Super happy we won but that third period was ridiculously bad for us. Have no idea how we won? Wtf was martin doing on the ice with 30 seconds left? I dont understand the thought process? We honestly had no buisness winning that game. - Cptmjl
Last half of the third period, really. They were OK to start out. But you had to know the Bs were going to make a big push and not make it easy for 60 whole minutes. |

I liked grabovski with Nelson and strome, definitely not a knock on grabovski. |

Conacher must go! 1 point in 7 games does not a first line player do, and keep his place in the lineup.

Having difficulty finding something about conacher I like so far. Just doesn't seem to be worth keeping in the lineup at all. |

Vanek is not looking any better. Wonder how long will they tolerate his lack of production in Minny |

I have gamecenter, I need to start watching them. 2 good former Sabres on that team now that I liked, I just usually get distracted with games instead of hockey. |

I agree. Cappy needs a better goalie split than he has done in the past. |

I think he's a fourth line player. He's got speed, but I haven't seen anything else. |
