what a difference positional goaltending makes. I love Halak but with this kid in net tonight there was a certain confidence from a fans view that I have not felt in decades.

I agree. The Isles may be in the enviable situation where their goalies are 1 and 1A. You can just go with the hot goalie.........like in the old days of Smitty and Chico.

Super happy we won but that third period was ridiculously bad for us. Have no idea how we won? Wtf was martin doing on the ice with 30 seconds left? I dont understand the thought process? We honestly had no buisness winning that game.

Last half of the third period, really. They were OK to start out. But you had to know the Bs were going to make a big push and not make it easy for 60 whole minutes.

I think he's a fourth line player. He's got speed, but I haven't seen anything else.
