Nothing imminent. Seems as though its a wait and see what the home stand brings.
#10 and #14 are the names being mentioned, a lot.
Centre coming back. STL FLA PHI are the trade partners mentioned.
Eakins was almost fired last weekend. Bylsma was a guy named as a replacement.
Didn't know anything about D-men coming back.
Nothing he heard about Petry.
Poster from another site, not sure how accurate it is but not really that far fetched. - Lahey
I don't get why they would trade Eberle?

Berglund wouldnt be a bad option. But would have to be a bigger trade Id imagine. |

Centres out of FLA? Bjugstad? Barkov? Can't imagine they'd let one go.
Centres out of PHI? Couturier? Schenn? Not really interested in Schenn and Couturier seems far fetched.
Centres out of STl? Berglund? Not close to worth 14 or 10
Wouldn't mind Byslma. |

I suspect that it doesn't necessarily equal one for one. |

I would not say that Eakins is out of the wood work yet either... but the two wins definitely helped save his ass for this week... He owes Scrivens alot as of today... |

The gf and I almost broke up a couple weeks back. The thing I was most worried about (aside from having to find a place to live) was loosing our bulldog |

Only pressing needs are 2C and 1D so I'd really hope they don't trade Eberle for 3 minor pieces |

Scrivens is the reason he was in the dog house though. Well the main reason. |

don't know why they'd trade Eberle for a C. That's a pretty huge investment for a guy that would hold the spot for 1-2 years before Draisaitl takes it over. Top D would make more sense. From STL/PHI/FLA who makes sense? Shattenkirk? Sort of redundant with Schultz. Ekblad? Unproven and I bet FLA loves him. Coburn? Not enough to warrant Eberle |

The only C I'd say would be worth that type of trade is Cooter. The rest are either complete linchpins on their teams (Barkov, Giroux, Backes, etc) or wouldn't be enough of an upgrade (Berglund, Bjugstad, Schenn, etc). |

if Eberle for Cout is on the table I'd pull that asap. RNH-Draisaitl-Couturier would be insane down the road. Allow them to send Leon home.
I think PHI loves Cout too much |

Dont get me wrong. I was a huge Cooter fan. Still am. Still feel he should of went higher in the draft. He was a dominate Junior player. But if his ceiling is now that only of a 3rd line center. There is noway he is worth a top 6 winger. At this moment he is a lesser Jordan Staal. Does he fill a need for EDM. Absolutely. I just dont see how the value is fair. I see how each team would love Couts. I just dont see it as even. |
