Healy took took the Tard Talk to a whole new level last night . It seems to me like the analyst panel has taken the worst of sportsnet and CBC and put them all at one table. Elliot Freidman must sit down, take a look around and wonder where his career is going to be surrounded by such total morons like Kypreos, McLean and Healy.
- Jeropotato

I actually really like Doug MacLean. He knows his poop. Kyprios and Healy make me want to stick sharp objects in my ears though

I do feel bad for Friedman, hes one of the best. I liked Weekes and didnt mind PJ, but yes getting Healy the spot light is the worst thing they could have possibly done.

I wasnt watching the game but I saw some clips of that segment, what a train wreck

Trust me so does TSN... Now they have poker and Sportscenter spread to 5 or 6 channels...

Two wins is the important thing, hopefully build on it. The trade rumours flying around are a joke. A couple more wins and the vultures will find another team to write drama about.

Not to get ahead of ourselves but if we beat Carolina, suddenly a 3-4-1 record doesn't look half bad. With a bit more confidence it'll be interesting to see how we come back against some Western teams

Interesting play last night - Eberle went off on a line change and Yak jumped into the play with Hall on a 2 on 2 and yak got himself into an open lane to recieve a pass, it seemed like Hall wasn't even looking at him! The play eventually died because Hall held onto the puck too long and was outnumbered down low by wash even though Yak was in good position for support and receiving a pass. If it was Ebs, Hall would have passed IMO, makes me wonder is there Alpha male tension between Hall and Yak?

Sensationalism at its best!

Can you edit this and take out the speculation and replace it with facts please?

Edit: I didn't notice you put an 'IMO' in there.

And for the record I have often wondered if Yak fits in with the rest of the rest of the young guns.

If the right deal comes along, move him. Keep the w's rolling and the urgency for any deal goes away.

just saw the passing game between LD and Yaks. That was cute, but LD needs to be a little more selfish at times and shoot

BTW, saw his little dandy move that he had in the 1st period to control the puck in Washington's zone.

Hell yeah - I keyed on that as well. It was impressive.

I know people are pissed but he's staying. If there is no deal for another 2/3 C he'll be cutting his teeth in the bigs.

Not every top-5 draft pick is going to come in like Taylor Hall and rip poop apart. I think he will be fine to stay with the Oilers.

Didn't think they played that bad at all. Scrivens had to come up with some big saves, but pretty much every goalie has to do that each night. They didn't give up any prime scoring chances and no one was left wide open. Personally, I think that's a pretty good game played for the Oilers.

They were solid in each aspect of the game and didn't look out of place until the 3rd when they were protecting the lead. The goals WSH scored were things of beauty, you can't do much about that first PPG...

From what I saw with the highlights, the boys seem to be coming together quite nicely. Still the odd hiccup, but the D-corps looks much stronger now (finally, thank (frank)).

Not much the team can do when the goalie poops the bed to start the season a la Dubey style.

Apparently he likes that move. He did it on the Nikitin play and apparently lots in Junior. The key is for the other guy to shoot.

When he did take the selfish shot on the PP is was horrid

Yak... a bust. Lol

Is Huberdeau a bust too? Galchenyuk?

He's played 2 season. He is not a bust.
