I never knew that to be a term for a part of a woman's anatomy. So I guess I meant the real thing. I fell asleep during the game last night and I was having a dream I was playing RC-Pro AM on Nintendo. It was awesome.

I watched to world series instead. and Will continue to do so until it is over, because honestly, what am I going to miss?

Why all the Fenigenov hate? He was very misused by Lindy. With all this Nolan hate going around can the same not be said for Lindy? What did he ever do that was that good? Missed the playoffs more often than not, rode a hall of fame goalie to the SC Finals and after he had a team with depth, misused almost every one of them. Seriously, all Ruff did was beotch and moan about every penalty and discipline players like Max and reward lazy bumholes like Vanek. I think Afinogenov was one of the most exciting players I've ever watched play and when he left Buffalo and got a shot with Atlanta, he was every bit exciting and put up great numbers still. He shouldn't be remembered for how bad Ruff misused him. He was Ruff's scapegoat.

I caught the first 2 innings when I was out. Decided to flip on the 8th inning at home. Maybe it was just me, but Fox's coverage is horrible. Like really horrible. They just had a super close up of the face of that Giants pitcher the whole time. Then they'd snap away to show the pitch about half way through his motion and cut right back to his face. The only other things the would cut away to was a closeup of another coaches face. It was really annoying.

yeah they do a lot of off field interviews while the game is in progress as well...it also doesnt help that the game is slowed down so much by the combination of the batters stepping out and prepping after every single pitch and the pitcher taking his sweet ole time.

Fox and TBS have been doing that for years. I've become used to it. I need to find the article, but I read somewhere the networks have research that shows that method makes the viewer more intrigued; something to do with focusing on where all the "action" is. I don't follow the logic, but at the risk of being accused of thinking I'm smarter than television executives, I think I'll just concur.

Lindy was an average coach.

My biggest problem with him is that we rarely pulled of the upsets.

We lost to the Flyers when we had 2 games to close the deal. We lost in 07 when we were the best team in the east. We lost to Boston after winning the division.

Those are also other reasons I don't enjoy baseball much, but I other sports like hockey and football, the camera angle view represents something similar to a view a fan might have at the game. This was just closeups of dudes mouths for 94% of the time.

Maybe not play him on the 4th line? Not expect your fastest player to be a defensive forward? Not expect a skill guy to back-check when guys like Vanek and Roy weren't expected to and didn't? Don't put him on the point on your powerplay, when you actually did play him on it? Don't yell at the guy every time he made a tiny mistake like taking a penalty or turning the puck over while at the same time patting guys like Vanek, Roy, Gaustad on the back for being a lazy and worse defensively?

Gaustad is actually a really good defensive forward. It's how he's made himself a place in the league.

Roy backchecked plenty. He was also one of our better forwards defensively.

Overpaying for beer and watching them get out shot 12 to 45 by the ducks was an experience. It's getting harder and harder to watch.
