Nick Kypreos is a (frank)ing moron.... He went on some rant about how nobody would want Yakupov because after three years they don't know what kind of player he is.

First off, Yak is just starting his third season. Second, why don't they spend some time talking about how Huberdeau is a total bust.

Faynes giveaway was bad but I chalk that up to a brain fart. We won't see him do that again

Agree.

RNH is bigger, stronger, faster and more confident than he's ever been. Starting to own that 1C role nicely.

I tweeted same poop to Jamie McLennan and he thinks yaks good play is one game I told him multiple games. He messaged me back saying

Don't be fooled by empty calorie plays,he's a first effort player who is lost in his zone, playing shielded minutes against 3rd pairing D, He is consistently turning pucks over and making "hope" plays,if u think thats consistent, then that's why the oilers are a non playoff team. Nothing to do w birthplace, its to do with what he contributes, yes McKinnon will/had received honest assessment like everyone gets, later

He must be watching last years Yak... Tell the (frank)er to watch the 2014-15 Yak...

He had a very strong game. His goal was top notch O-Zone awareness.

He looked the best he has looked this season last night.

Ferrence just doesn't have it anymore and it's sad. He brings down his team bad. Goes for the hit at the wrong time and gives lousy options to his D partner.

no but I can tell a chick that my long gash on my arm is from a rugby game: more specifically a provincial final U19 game where I was being scouted by team canada.

Balance is all this team needs- we won even tho the 3rd was close to a trainwreck- the professor bailed the team out... but I must note I have to give credit where its due with Eakins... I like that he was able to balance the fwd minutes as well as defense minutes... putting Yakupov on the ice with 3 mins remaining in the game is a very huge deal I will add that Drai improved this game but he is just too (frank)ing slow... He is going to be a monster for this team down the road but- we need an actual 2nd line center...

We have a #2 center, Arcobello. He has 3 points in 7 games, is over 50% on the dot, has 12 hits, over 16 min atoi, has a 2:1 ratio of takeaways v. giveaways, and is a +2 on a team full of minuses. Not sure why he doesn't get more love, I really liked what he brought last year too, but was sent down at the first opportunity.

Yeah but Arco is just OK. I want the Oilers to be great. Arco will fill in admirably but not take this team to the next level. He is the perfect utility player.

Arco should be a guy that, if scratched, no one will be wondering why.
