Is it? I see Jordan Eberle as very Daniel Sedin like, or I at least see him achieving that kind of success.
Daniel Sedin after 4 Years.....
315 games, 151 points
.....and the best was yet to come.
Jordan Eberle after 4 years..
275 games , 221 points...
.....but that's obviously as good as it's gonna get because jake24242 says so?
Just for fun
Hank Sedin after 4 years.....
318 games, 146 points
.....goes on to become one the leagues most prolific centers for a solid half decade
Ryan Nugent Hopkins after 3 years....
182 games, 132 points....
....BUST!!!!!! - Jeropotato
He had 14 pts less than H. Sedin, so I'd agree that he's a bust

Because it's his job to hire the staff that will put good defence in place. He is required to "Manage", he's responsible for making sure everything is executed properly below him. - ehabs9
So fire another coach? It's 6 games into the season. Should Roy get fired too? |

All same injurys? I mean if he was on the oilers he may of not had a injury yet. Different team different future - jake24242

They can do what they want. All I'm saying is, you can't say problems with the team and the way they're coached can't be blamed on the GM. It's all his responsibility. |

How dare you say Oiler young guns are having a higher per game points ratio than the Sedin Sisters.... They are all that is right and great in the land |

Good post. But to be fair, the Sedins were getting 13-14 mins a game back then.

We have little to nothing in our system right now that screams N.H.l player.marincin was a nice pick , but almost all of their other picks are below the curve. - Allforhim12
Yeah and the 2010 class is the first to be a part of the farm system ( or did you forget about the roadrunner and Wilkes-Barrie/Scranton Penguins debacles?).
What are your expectations for The 2nd and 3rd round picks ? History shows only something like 20% of all 2nd rounders make the NHL and less for the 3rd round and so on.
If you expect to have a Zetterberg in every other draft you're being a touch unrealistic. |

It's fairly irrelevant if you ask me, who cares how wonderfully individual players were/are doing. The oilers are blowing far bigger chunks for far longer than the Canucks did. |

I am hardly a crazed fan. This was a response to your post about Eberle's ceiling. According to you this is a a good as it gets for the kid isn't it?
There are plenty of issues , and I'm not opposed to making (FAIR) trades, but selling low on these guys is poor asset management.
Now dishing off the future draft picks and so e decent farm hands is so ething I am firmly behind. |

I think the point made here is clearly those young Oilers have trade value of significance... and wont be had for tablescraps |

he was a 4th round pick, but yes you have to be lucky as an organization to hit at least 1 of those late round picks being a regular NHLer |

You gotta read the post I responded to. Jackass24242 wS claiming Ebs has hit his prime or ceiling or something, and I used a Sedin as what I feel is a fair comparison to illustrate that Eberle is still young and has possibly not reached his peak. |

I think if you can draft 1.5 NHL'ers a season over a 5 year span your doing pretty good. |

I cannot see any 2015 picks being traded at this point. imagine being the GM that traded away the pick that was used for McDavid. - ImThatGuy
Imagine being the GM that traded away the picks that were Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton. |

Gaudreau was a 4th rounder too but we'll see if he is able to live up to the hype. Giordano too although he went un-drafted... there are a (few, very few) examples but it does happen |
