yes but you're still looking a significantly smaller investment than an expansion club would be. and a ready-made club with its own prospect/minor league infrastructure, scouts, etc... obviously still a long shot. let's understand that first and foremost Montreal is being used here. but it doesn't change the fact that the Rays are out of there with no stadium and it seems like a long shot that they'll get one. but the big question remains: who steps up locally to make this happen?
