Everyone complains about Eller, but the guy's doing a good job in the last three games. He was -4 vs. TBay.

As for Bourque, he's not playing as bad as people suggest either, but last night was not a good one for him, and he needs to bear down.

- EricEngels

Come on dude they have one point in 7 games and their +/- is a trainwreck. Are you serious about this not as bad.

they need to start putting pucks in the net every now and then though. our 3-4 lines are offensive black holes at the moment.

that's about what's missing on the third line. but it's not like they aren't getting chances. and no one talks about when they force turnovers, cycle, and enable momentum from line to line. they're getting some tough matchups too.

I'm not saying there's not room for improvement. Of course they can be doing a lot more. But they're not weighing the team down.

As for the fourth line... love their game right now. They're playing great.

Agreed. IMO, Eller and Bourque need a playmaker with them. Not Sekac, but PAP.
Put Sekac with Plek.

Oh, so now +/- is a useful stat?

The 3rd line is getting buried in the defensive zone. They can improve, but they hold their own.

No. Let's just make silly lopsided trade proposals or pretend De La Rose would do better.

Until then, coach needs to find a way to get production from his 3rd line.

but think of that momentum he created when he lost the puck in the corner...yet again.
