It would be worse.

Well, there's your "tank." Sadly, in the NHL, you need more than 5 players on a team.

yeah. the northeast isnt awful but its starting to wear on me. its technically philly i guess but it is pretty night and day between actually being down in center city areas.

Yeah. Most of my friends live in Fairmount now. They swear by it. I lived in Old City, which was pretty awesome. It's expensive as (frank) to go out. If you have your own place down the street from those bars, though, your chances of getting laid are very high.

Playing in the AHL for a few months won't HURT them. That's the last thing I'm saying on the matter.

The one gunman that got killed, actually made it inside parliament.

There is a video being shown on news outlets ( CBC )

I heard about this.

Was this a Canadian? Or did ISIS follow through?

IF it was the latter...who picks on Canada. Seriously. That's like bullying that one 1st grader that everyone in 3rd grade thinks is cool and genuinely likes. You (frank) with that little dude, all the big dudes better gang up.

That's all I gotta say about that.

I'm not saying the team should tank, but I think they should make the most of this transitional year. If they continue to be 6-8 points behind a playoff spot, they should really look to be sellers and hope a desperate team comes calling.

yeah old city is pricey as hell. definitely not something i can currently do on anything close to a fairly regular basis. i dont need much to enjoy myself though. sometimes just hanging in with people can beat going out. its crazy how only two years out from college and i already miss just the lazy bullpoop days with your buddies more than anything.

Don't have those details yet, but the guy who hit and killed a solider earlier was "radicalized" and was on his way to Turkey.

Canada has been lead by a conservative/republican government for a while now. Has been playing with the big boys. Poking at the middle east and Russia.

Announcing a mission to help fight back ISIS recently. The vibes are this is a retaliation kind of event. A couple soldiers were hit by a car in Quebec a few days ago as well by a extremist guy.

More than one suspected shooter.

They'll have some hard sells. You could MAYBE sell L. Schenn on a "change of scenery" again, but it would be tough. Grossmann's knees will get you a small return. AMac has a contract no one wants. Coburn and Streit should stay if we can manage it. MDZ, see ya. Schultz to waivers.

Douglas Murray fetched 2 2nd rounders. Defensive depth is paramount for a Cup contender (see: Bartulis, Parent, Krajicek). We could probably unload 1-2 of our defenders for some B-level prospects and/or 2nd/3rd round picks.

VLs contract becomes much more poor team friendly next season. Flyers could cover his hit through this season in a trade.

L Schenn could be traded. Return would be minimal.

I believe Grossmann could be moved for practically nothing.

I'd kick the tires on an Amac or Umberger deal, but I doubt anyone will be too interested.

VL, Grossmann and Schenn gone would open up over $11M in cap space. Just sayin.

Gus got a raw deal, which I think we can all agree on.

If only he'd been rushed into the NHL.

We'll see. Teams always need defense and draft picks are valued much higher now than they used to be. Would you rather pay a 2nd and 3rd for an expiring #4 dman (Amac) or a 5th for a 5/6 (Grossmann) who is signed for 1 extra season?
