technically the last "terror attack" in canada happened 2 days ago, again targetting a member of the Canadian Forces, and it was by a radicalized Canadian who had converted to the Islamic faith over a year ago.

i'm devastated that i lost a brother in arms today, and it's a little scary being locked down on a military base, knowing that i've now become a target of opportunity for lunatics simply because of the uniform i proudly wear.

that being said, i know this isn't the Muslim people.........this is cowards and psychotics, who would do this no matter what, and who use religion as an excuse. I think true Muslims are great people, who probably hate these terrorists even more than we do.

not really sure what else to say..............sitting here, pretty down about this whole situation.

to all my friends and family in my home town, both the ones i know personally, and all you guys on here.....stay safe.

This is what is so damn scary. People who are born in the country but are manipulated and brain washed to believe that if people disagree with their beliefs they should be killed.

I am in absolute shock. My father (who has worked with CSIS) talked to me YESTERDAY about the terrible hit and run in MTL and how they were specifically targeted because of the unform they wear. He spoke about how people are worried about "that type of threat could be coming here". Newsflash everyone it is here.

Sorry to hear about your fallen soldier. God Bless you guys and thank you for protecting my city and family

I just wanted to wish our Canadien brothers well and hope that they are staying safe. Our thoughts are with the RCMP, the family and friends of the fallen soldier and all of those affected on this sad day.

We also want to express our gratitude for the Canadien service men and women and their efforts to help protect not only their cities and countries but also the continent as well.

Our beautiful country lost a hero today. You always know its possible that someone is capable of this. But you never actually expect it to happen.

Stay strong Canada.

I'm watching the PHI @ PIT game because of the postponed TOR @ OTT game. I thought it was a classy move by the NHL and also the Penguins organization to play the Canadian national anthem at this game.

Edit: I'm really liking the Pens classic "black n yellow" jerseys their wearing tonight. I hope they get the win for me tonight on my PL.
