Make a trade, bring in a centre. If it's a guy like Brodziak who's a UFA in 76 games, great. If it's a guy still under contract next year, it's still fine. I'm neither afraid of depriving Arcobello a spot nor am I banking on Draisaitl being ready for NHL C duties next year either. Go get a guy.

Tough spot to be in, too big and skilled to return to junior, not enough veteran depth to shelter the kid.

Can management not contemplate loaning him over to the Elite league or something? The big ice would give him the opportunity to work on his horrid skating at the very least.
