I'm sick to my stomach. As excited as we all got after 4 games looks like we watching last years isles again last 2 games.

Cappy has to go. What is the excuse now? You got a full roster.

I got it, let's fall behind 5-2 in second and I'll use Colin MacDonald to save the day.

Depressing

Some of us weren't all that excited by a GAA now north of 3.00. Until the GAA is less than 2.25, I will never be excited. They could score 800 goals, and it would still piss me off. Defense wins championships. Period.

Strome and Kulimen had their best games of the year. McDonald can't hit the broad side of a barn. Halak was horrific (I want him to play one game where start to finish he is Great... we have not had that yet.. ). I am guessing we are one week away from a new coach. ...so on some levels we should hope for Boston to win.

When they asked the trainer how many stitches the answer was.."too many to count".

Strome looked great. He made one bone headed play but that was probably his best game of the year. The kid can thread passes better than anyone else on the team. If youre going to play him on the wing he should be on the first line setting up tavares and okposo instead of conacher who is quickly becoming a bad joke on that line.

Strome had 11 mins of ice time last night. So did Colin MacDonald. What wrong here?
Horrible night for hamonic and hickey. Both -3

Looks like conacher has gotten comfortable. Time to remind him of he doesn't produce he gone. Bring up lee and put him on top line.

- Spartiarti

Strome was awesome last night. Him getting as much ice time as mcdonald is a clear indication ofwhats wrong with this team and whats been wrong for the last three years. Its time for these guys all to get shipped back to bawston. Thompson, capuano, and cronin. It hasnt been working and its still not.

When he finally took Conacher off the top line he put Kulemin up there... I just don't understand WTF Cap is doing most of the time. Every oposing goal.. march out the 4th line for the face off.. Strait just got beat badly.. better put him right back on the ice. Strome just had a great shift... better give him plenty of rest.

It drives me nutz knowing who is evaluating the talent that should be on team, then in line-up. If fans can gage who might be better placed on team/line-up makes me scratch my head. Besides a few players, I really don't see the players check anyone out the way or even period? Even tho its 2 games and cant get that nutz yet, but its easily noticeable of tweaks this team needs, for now at least....

That was disgusting!!! I was one of the few that would wait to judge Cappuano on coaching abilities with a talented team on paper. After 6 games i realize this guy has to go. I'm not overeating because of couple loses. His line combination and his love affair for 4th line players is holding this team back. He should have pulled Halak after the 3rd goal. Anyone can see Halak was totally off his game last night. He was miss handling the puck and looked lose. Your the coach it's your job to recognize these situation and do something about it.

If I had a penny for every time you guys have complained about coaching over the past 3 years I could've bought the Islanders from Wang.

If JT ends up pulling a hamstring is it Cappy's fault for not massaging him before the game too?

Last night was a total team effort, in a bad way, with the exception of a few. Not that I'm blaming anyone but I would call up Lee put him on the first line, put the 2nd line back together when Grabo comes back and put Conacher on the 4th with Cizikas and either CC or MM.

I think your coach is an idiot but your players are equally at fault whenever you have a terrible performance. Its as if you guys seems to think that your players are so perfect and excused from blame that hiring a coach like Babcock would guarantee an 82-0 campaign and a Stanley Cup every year.

No. Thats in your head. When you see the same flawed defensive system and players not moving from their predetermined pegs in the defensive zone and cal clutterbuck on the second line along with his insistence to give the fourth line almost as much ice time as the second line it is plain as day as its the coach's fault. Casey cizikas got more than eighteen minutes the other night. Nobody and I mean nobody on here thinks the players are perfect but when the guy behind the bench is blaming young players and the same problems exist from three yrs ago its not the young players fault. In other words when the problem is always everyone else all the time generally speaking the problem is you(capuano).

The successful teams in the league roll 4 lines equally. Mcdonald got 11 minutes...thats low compared to the 4th line of the bruins or rangers or kings. I just think that even if all the players you wanted to play 20 mins got those minutes and you still lost you guys would be complaining that cappy only played the 4th line 5 mins which tired out the rest of the forwards.

Cappy does suck though.

I agree though equally might not be the most accurate word nor does it dispute anything I just posted.

Hickey was the weak link last night on D.
And he got his face/neck cut by a skate, so he may be missjng a few games regardless.

Agreed he was bad last night but he is not the problem. The problem is being petrified to make a move because you might lose Strait, Donovan or McDonald to waivers. All 3 are garbage and most likely wouldn't get claimed to begin with. How Lee is in the minors is all you need to know about how this team is run
