Their pre-season form has carried over to the regular season it seems. Losing Stastny was a bigger loss than I would have suspected but that can't be whole story.

We'll play well against the hawks. I think Dallas had some extra motivation tonight. They came out flying. That mixed with the canucks typical slow starts. We were bound to get eaten alive.

I don't see it as Dallas out-working the Canucks, as much as them being flat out better.

I like that they are still trying to get back in it. And in fairness this is the first bad game they've played

They had amazing goaltending from Varlamov and a pretty high team shooting percentage. ANA seems to keep shooting at a high rate, I wonder if Colorado will regress or also keep scoring as efficiently.

I posted a few blogs ago that if we lost the game against the Lightning we could go 0-4. Blues next (and that's going to be a loss) but the Avs will be the 4th team and that will be the real test.

I still think we will be a bottom ten team but where in that bottom ten I don't know.

I'm going to start leaning on the prospect-knowledgable guys in here. I think that's going to be the only silver lining to this season.

Sestito would have easily have stopped like 3 of their goals and scored 4 himself. Resting him for the playoffs is too risky. This team needs it's leader.
