That's a long time. Can't really say they got much if anything from the departures of Modano, Robidas, Morrow, Richards, Eriksson and neither were they getting high draft picks.

I'd argue that their fortunes weren't really revived until Nill took the helm a few years ago. That's a spontaneous re-tool and a good GM can make that happen.

Not making excuses as they're a better team, but the first goal went in off Burrows, 2nd goal by Seguin was an open net due to Tanev laying on Miller and the 3rd goal was fluky by Benn or this would be a close one.

It has been discussed very frequently how badly this team needs a faceoff specialist. I am REALLY looking forward to Bo coming back... 22-34...

The Canucks have been by far the better team since I started watching (about 5 minutes to go in the second), but you're right, Dallas is already at the bar.
