What's the story? Miller obviously took "stand on your head" too literally, but what else? Is it particular players or just bad everything? |

Sestito would have easily have stopped like 3 of their goals and scored 4 himself. Resting him for the playoffs is too risky. This team needs it's leader. - Nucker101
He will be back next game. Vey will be in the press box. |

Just a bizarre game with some strange goals, not to mention we don't have the speed or skill to match this rising young team!!! |

Shots are actually about even I believe. Just Oiler-like giveaways and defensive coverage. Mediocre goaltending as well. |

Same. I hope he's not another AHL-star who's game just flat out doesn't translate into the NHL. Sill early though, but he looks very tweener-like so far. |

That second line might as well be young kids, at least they'd have an excuse |

You're forgetting that we haven't played the St. Louis, Chicago, California or Pittsburgs of the league yet, I have a feeling some of those games will make this look like a narrow win for the stars. |

Was being sarcastic. I got jumped on the other night for calling out most of our team for having a lack of quality but, even in that vein, I still expected better than what I've seen tonight.
I can't imagine those teams would hurt us any worse, but there may be a few more of these results to come. |

Hey.... you know... I am kind of glad this happened. Sure we can beat up on the little sisters of the league like Edmonton and Calgary but what we really needed was a test against a super juggernaunt. ............like Dallas. *sigh*

So when does Trevor walk into Aquilini's office and say, "You know it's a re-build, right?" |

Now Dallas is an example of a team that rebuilt/retooled properly. Went out and got:
Hemsky
Spezza
Seguin
That's a skilled group. Good for them. |

Man they got lucky to land that guy, not often someone that young and talented is available. Also got a great deal for Spezza and Hemsky was a solid signing. Drafting that Benn guy also helped. |

Now repeatedly throwing my sweater (not jersey you American broadcasters) against my Tv. Much cheaper this way and I can recycle it over and over. |

What did they rebuild from exactly? Their 1999 Cup winning team? |

I like what Jim Nill has done, he seems to have no problem pulling the trigger on good opportunities |

This team completely revived its fortunes after Jim Nill joined. Good GMs go a long way. |

I guess when Nill took over, they weren't considered to be a team on the rise at that point. |
