Had no idea, but it's usually different justice in this country for the rich, but LA could be F-ed because is he's found guilty he most likely will get deported, and his salary stays on the books! - Bradlee3[img]
This tells the story http://www.tsn.ca/talent/macramalla-voynov-criminal-charges-and-deportation-1.111896[/img]
He would likely do Jail time before being Deported. |

No dude. Your clearly the idiot. You have this inability to understand what others tell you. Nobody once said he will be back in a game or two. You only listen to the things you think to yourself. Repeat the same thing over and over agaian.
How many times does someone have to tell you they understand the Kings can get out of his contract. But its to early to do so without all the information. Then you just repeat yourself saying oh but the Kings can get out of his contract.
Its amazing how you think your so much better than other people. Your not even clever in trying to pursued people into thinking what you want them to think. - poisondhearts37

Im not sure you understand my argument with this guy. I know he isnt playing. I know he could be deported after possible jail time. That isnt the dispute. |

I get that Kings fans love Voynov and that he is a very good hockey player, but the dude chose the wrong time to slap a women around because after Ray Rice people rightfully started caring. Not you, of course, as you've made your love of "Freeing Slava!" clear, whatever that means.
I maintain that if the Kings wanted to they could likley void his contract under the NHL morality clause if they so chose. Likely, as I haven't been able to find an exact NHL morals clause language. At this point who knows if he'll be convicted of a felony or not, but in a civil case he's very likley done more than enough for the Kings to easily prove that he has damaged their reputation. Just Google "Voynov" and "Domestice Abuse;" You'll see that the words "LA Kings" appear before in every article. Unless you think the Kings want to be associated with domestic above, then its clear they have at least some cause under any standard morality clause to cut ties. |

It was said before. Dean is loyal to his players. He isnt going to cut ties before he gets all the facts. Once he gets the facts then he will make his decisions. If all the facts come out that he is guilty. Every King fan will be fine with letting him go and cutting ties to him. |

While we disagree about a lot, I do agree with you that that in so far as the criminal justice system goes Voynov is innocent until proven guilty. He can not and has not (to the best of my knowledge) been unduly detained by the police, jailed, or deported by either the State of California or the US Goverment without due process. |

To people having a pissing contest online... a few tips.
1. Spell stuff correctly
2. Grammar is not to be raped.
3. You are = you're. Your = you're an idiot for not using your correctly in your sentence.
4. We hate you

Actually your right of innocence until proven guilty is strictly for the jury in the court room. It has nothing to do with everyone else. Per Vincent Bugliosi. |

I'm a big fan of the part where it says innocent until proven guilty. If needed to calm the situation down, remove the player from the roster until the facts are out and the elevator video surfaces, but crucifying someone in public before anything is really known is not good. (Duke Lacrosse Team)

Blame Ray Rice for this NHL suspension, obviously. |

Its crazy. I just installed a bunch of Data/Phone lines in elevators in a new construction of a student housing complex out here, And we had to go back and install another line in every elevator for a camera addition. |

I'd pass on that from Colorado's perspective. How do you feel about our current regimes foreign policy and if you wouldn't mind please talk to me a little about religion. |

And just to be clear innocent until proven guilty only applies to the judicial system the court of public opinion is entitled to pass judgement immediately |

It really amazes me how different people's reactions to domestic abuse are when there is a video compared to when there is not. I know the video serves as evidence but so do the bruises, contusions, blood, concussions, etc. that the woman has. How is it less bad without a video? Like a local sports radio commentator said after the Rice incident, the Ravens didn't cut him because they saw the video - they cut him because the world saw it. That incident was probably not much worse than the 50+ such incidents in the NFL over the past decade (including some Steelers) but unlike those couldn't be swept under the rug because of the video. Just because there isn't a (known) video of Voynov beating his wife doesn't mean that it isn't as bad or even worse than the Rice incident. And all but the the most callous Ravens fans agreed with dumping Rice.
Hockey is my favorite sport to watch for a variety of reasons including the blend of speed, skill, strategy, and physicality it has. I also like the fact that the guys who play it seem like good, normal people for the most part. Incidents like Voynov's are rare among NHL players. In the NFL, they were routine until the Rice incident. If it were not for the fact that the players of the NFL were playing professional football half of them would likely be in prison. This has caused me to lose interest in the game, including in the Steelers. Baseball and Basketball are too boring for me.
I do agree with you that there is no way that the Pens will be able to unload Scuderi and I don't think the Kings need Martin, even if they lose Voynov for the season. There are some teams that could probably use Martin but I would rather the Pens just keep him . |

Who gives a frank about Voynov, he is under investigation (felony) and won't return to the NHL until that is concluded and or charges are filed.
To the real matter, Bortuzzo is healthy and Scuds still sucks. Time to make the move Mike. Show some onions |

Assuming Sundqust is capable of making the big club next year, that would make Sid, Geno, Sutter, Sundquest, Goc and Spaling all centers. I think Sutter becomes the odd man out at that point. He is playing well on the #2 role, I think a team desperate for a C would go after Sutter. Next year your lines could be:
Kunitz-87-PH
X-Malkin-Kap
Dupes-Goc-BB
Spaling-Sundquest-Megna
Downie, Comeau?
Not bad IMO. |
