yeah. like i said i didnt see the first so i probably have a skewed view. i know its no consolation really, but the hawks are a very tough team. with the talent discrepancy, nothing short of an A performance is going to make it a game.

from that description, it sounds like that wasnt what was brought. outshot 14 to 1 should never occur, dysfunctional defense or not.

Ok so let's break this down.

Legal hit; 2 minutes for hitting too hard: check

Opponent comes in to fight the guy who throws the hit, then the guy that throws the hit is horse-collared to the ice by an official: check

The same opponent looking for a fight turns to a different guy who certainly would fight him, and they're separated and escorted to their respective benches: check

Hawks score on the PP: check

It's just, that's his job. He plays because he keeps people away from the net. He had inside position on Kane, but still couldn't stop him from getting there.

Yeah, definitely.

I have a lot of feels about this one. One thing that stands out to me is, Giroux and Voracek look good offensively and our most dangerous but I feel like they're slowly down by Raffl. It's not about no longer having Hartnell as it is never replacing him.
