Yup, in the East end of Toronto there is an actual beach. That part of town is called The Beaches

Originally called the Beach, the hipsters call it the Beaches.

All kidding aside, hope it works out for you, I hear its a nice area.

You have it backwards. It was originally "The Beaches" and then renamed "The Beach" and most recently "The Beach Village."

Thanks for the well wishes!

You could be right, it was a topic on Am640 a couple weeks ago for some reason.

No further east, but it sounds like you're familiar with that area. You and your schoolyard buddies enjoy the parade?

Talk radio, it actually is entertaining and educational at times, I work alone, so its a nice break from repeating music stations.

I don't see what is so funny here.

Spott said that Panik has gotten better each day he's been here. Said they have been impressed with his physicality. Hopefully they can start getting that 4th line some more mins.

Sounds like they are going to try to get Kessel away from the other teams top offensive line more often and try to get that 3rd line out there against them more often. That Kessel line needs to get going.

Yes. I vote for Lupul to play with Kessel and Bozak and put JVR on the 2nd line.

They just have to give the 4th line a bit more of an opportunity. Frattin had what, 2:30 of ice-time? Would Crosby even be effective playing that many minutes?

The problem is that in those 2-3mins they actually get the puck is constantly going the wrong way. I see why they aren't getting more mins...... but do you give them more mins and hope they can become effective than they currently are (and not get killed even more with more mins), or do you wait for them to not get killed in the mins they currently get before you give more mins?

If you listened to Spott (I'm assuming you did), he says they have to find a way to get the 4th line more minutes.

Sounds like the roadblock is Carlyle there.

In a 0-0 game, sure, but when we were getting hosed against Detroit, he could've let them play for most of the 3rd period, no pressure, build some confidence, see what they can do.

Quinn used to always do that, so did Wilson; RC sticks to his matchups until the end, when maybe calling it a day and resting his horses would be a better strategy.
