It's hard to get what actually happened but from all I read, it sounds like a leg injury, it was something silly in practice.

Biggs made his Orlando debut this weekend in a double header and dropped the gloves in both outings. He has one assist and 14 penalty minutes with two shots on net.

Forwards Ryan Rupert and Brad Ross, defenceman Eric Knodel and goaltender Garret Sparks were also demoted with Biggs.

Not many on the Leafs that would give the Oilers what they need.

Edmonton hasnt been as bad as thier record. I dont see them making any rash moves yet. they need 10-15 games to see whats happening.

i think Phaneuf is a good fit for EDM. not the solution, not by himself, but an upgrade, even if he's overpaid or miscast as a #1. but when i look at the Oil, i don't see what they have that Toronto really needs. Toronto and Edmonton share the same strength: offensive wingers.

IMO, EDM needs both a defensive dman and a more offensive dman. TOR can sure provide you with the latter. No?
