I like Bonino, he has a tough deal in being the main piece of the kesker trade. I think if as the season goes on he could be a good player on a line with one of the twins if they reach a point where they could be split up ...hendrik centering Kassian or Higgins and Vrbata ....and Bonino centering Daniel and burrows ....Daniel has chemistry with burrows and hendrik has chemistry with both ...this is only if the scoring beyond one line dries up but always an idea

You could say the same for our forwards as of so far this season we have what? Sedins and Hansen as drafted fwds in our lineup. Everybody else was signed or traded for I think.

This is why I have doubts about this year, about half the other teams first lines are better than ours. It will hurt in road games.

Previous years they never had to go up against those lines, Kesler did it, it's not their speed that's an issue it's the fact we don't have a Kesler type center to check the other teams best line.

As soon as Horvat is back we have a legit 2nd line center...in a couple years.

Cedarholm COrrado Subban and the Russian are in the system , Tommernes and Eriksson don't look bad and also Hutton

The Canucks 3rd line depth is the envy of the entire league with the exception of the Toronto Maple Leafs , who ice an all star team every season.

I think you know how I feel about the team this year. Unlike most on this thread I still don't see this as a playoff team as is. Also I don't want to limp into the playoffs. If we can not compete as a top contender then I want a high draft pick .

I would also move Burrows and one of our top D men at TDL
