Looks like Colorado had 5 PPs in the 1st and Fla. was up 2-0 after 1. I wonder how long before Roys gleam gets some tarnish

Can't believe how different Galchenyuk is compared to last year.

They can only play when the games are scheduled.

He's maturing. From 18 to 20 makes a huge difference. Think about your own life. At 18, you only had 500 tattoos. At 20, you were all the way up to 750.

i think Galchenyuk's jump has been more like 250 to 750.
big thing for him is, team's are going to start keying in on him because he's so far and away our most dangerous forward, and how does he respond to that?
but the good news there is that it could free up the Desharnais line for softer minutes. having a second scoring threat is a weird feeling in these parts.

i thought Detroit looked really good... surprisingly good. when they're healthy and they get good goaltending like Howard is giving them, they're still a threat.

He had Quincey in his face all night.

I'd say he responds quite well so far.

interesting battles last night, Quincey vs Galchenyuk and Emelin vs Datsyuk.

Emelin is quietly playing very well, regardless of what that dude said last night.

They are a pain in the ass. Their system doesn't allow a lot of speed for the opposing team in the neutral zone.

apparently Tinordi learned how to play hockey at some point between preseason and regular season too, which was god of him.
