Come on... That doesn't come anywhere close to getting you Eberle. Add a 1st in and then maybe.

I think you are delusional.

Eberle doesn't appeal to me. small, soft, one-dimensional from everything you hear.

always liked seguin. bruins (frank)ed up there but yak is poop.

Despite playing less games Yakupov has scored 6 more goals and only has 5 less points than Gally (they were tied entering season)....but Gally is a future star and Yak is a bust.

Ok....got it.

I agree Eller is a 3rd line center but we don't need to tell them.

As for Emelin, he is doing a fair job with Subban. I definateky think he is top 4 material.

you'd trade Pacioretty for him?
- scotch_tape

IDK what you're talking about.

Forgot him. Yeah, would be dumb, as you'd hope Yakupov would someday become somewhat like Pacioretty.

You also don't trade your most complete player after spending 2 years building a competitive team because you think he might get worse over the next few years.
- KovyFan27

I'm not saying I want to trade Plekanec.

However, Yakupov is not the kind of player that is available very often on the trade market.

The question you need to ask yourself is : Can you compensate the loss of Plekanec within your team?

I think Eller can compensate for the defensive aspect of the game. Galchenyuk and Yakupov will increase your offensive firepower.

This is why I would seriously consider this trade.

Just my thought.

I don't think its a big secret that he isn't a 2nd line center, and Emelin is good for a few nice hits each game, other than that not much.

Would Eller + Tokarski be enough? Maybe add a prospect?
