Going to the first Niagara centre in Buffalo for the habs game on nov 5th. Does the Sabres store sell merchandise for other teams?
Probably my biggest disappointment at the ACC in Toronto as a habs fan. Not a thing for sale for another team.
At least the Canadian tire centre in Ottawa had merch for other teams. |

If you go to the Habs store at the Bell Centre, you won't find other team's stuff either.

I still thought it was quite stupid. They would make more money, even at the ACC if they took advantage of selling merch of the visiting team. If they would have had anything of galchenyuk, I would have picked it up in a heartbeat.
Edit: I would say the same about the bell centre then. This will be my third game. A preseason game in Ottawa last September, the ACC in March and now Buffalo. Considering the Sabres suck right now, they might.
Either way, it's basic commercialism, if you reach out to a larger customer base, you're likely to sell more. |
