That's because most Flyer fans, at least in the Philadelphia area, are weekend warrior fans. Sure, they scream and have tons of passion, but if it isn't said by a commentator or news source then they have no opinion.

I've been playing this game for years now. While watching a game, I listen for broadcasters to repeat certain things throughout the game. Then the following day I listen to all major radio sports shows. Sure enough 99% of the time when they aren't talking about the Eagles, the callers just rehash the same garbage commentators say as opinion.

This is more about getting B. Schenn's name out there and hoping another team overpays because "other" teams are interested too. Schenn is a very easy player to replace and the Flyers would love to get a piece to fill in other holes using him as "value". I guarantee the teams asking are offering 6/7 defensemen they don't need anymore.
