He played well last season. He just needed better linemates. Playing on the fourth line.. there is nothing to do BUT dump it in. His linemates aren't skilled enough to receive a pass.

Here is the problem as I see it, if he tried to be creative and loses the puck, guess where he will be next game? He is already on the fourth line which is not the ideal spot for him to be in the first place on this team.
