Agree, that is why I think he could garner some solid interest at the TDL if the Flyers looked to move him...

Maybe. He's a very good penalty killer. I could see a particular team interested in him. A team that had some good puck movers, but lacked experience and struggled to kill penalties.

I'd say the Flyers options would be fairly limited though.

Actually Derian Hatcher in his prime is a good comp for Morin. Big, mean, decent skills and mobility. I'd be thrilled with that.

The clutch-grab/interference rules have halved their effectiveness in front of the net and along the boards. Used to be every team had a Luke Schenn on their top-pair. Not anymore.

Not having that kind of player on the top pair, is far different from that type of player being phased out of the NHL.
