Isles just need to concentrate on the Pens 1st line of Crosby and the PP. Even tho Malkin is great, he's the only stud on that 2nd line. Crosby-Kunitz-Horny have been really good for them, so Boychuk & Leddy have their work cut out for themselves....

The isles bottom 6 is better, and should be the difference maker. If the isles can stay outta the box, they should beat this pens team.

The isles depth is better but I don't like to predict anything, especially early into the season. Need more games and positive outcomes to get to that conclusion....

It's never too early to predict a win for the boys.

I'm just enjoying the good start. I'm not even thinking playoffs, Cup, or even focused on the standings. It's too early to get wrapped up.

do you even read what i write??? lines are in my game preview... nhl.com is wrong all the time...
- Dan Petriw

Just read it.

I think the problem with the fourth line is Cappy doesn't really match up lines. He throws out that fourth line everytime he wants a spark. Sometimes they're up against the wrong lines.

Kumelin on the second is a good move. He's a beast!!

For the record I wasn't referring to your blogs being boring. I was bored before you even started writing.

Its a tough schedule the isles will be going thru w/quality teams coming up and a west coast trip. Win or lose, that barometer of games will give me a good evaluation of this team...... Right now its looking good.....

I'm just excited to see a PP with a threat from the point. How many years did we as fans suffer with the wrong personel being back there??

Special teams wins games. Bout time the isles have legit PP

He does it all the time. Better off getting Brock Nelson out there....in my opinion.

I'm just thrilled we finally brought in solid vets to go with the young talent. This is all Isles fans wanted. We were not looking for an all-star team and Charles to break the bank.

He even starts games with them. Hey coach, those guys don't match up well with first liners.

If me and Bruno had a cookoff he'd be minus 3

For all the years I've chirped Garth snow, I don't think I can recall a GM having a better off season. He literally brought in 2 guys at every position.....all of whom are difference makers.
