all i'm saying is nobody can predict based on what we've seen so far. most thought they were F-ed this time last year; not many saw a cup final run coming at game 82 in 2010.....i just don't think this is a basement team that will be in the lottery mix.

I'm not sure either way. If they make the playoffs, I think it's as a wildcard. I don't think they'll finish very low in the standings, either. But everyone out of the playoffs is in the lottery, so who knows?

But I don;t think they will be as awful as Buffalo, Carolina or Edmonton.

Our D isn't that much better if at all. We get away with it because of our team speed. Our O has the puck enough and is fast enough to get back on the back check that our D isn't being forced to play shutdown most of the game. I expect a 5-4 game with Benn-Seguin and Giroux-Simmonds showing up a lot tonight.

But seriously, the Flyers have issues with team defense, as well as the defensemen. We're sort of like the Oilers. Way too many undisciplined and mental mistakes in our own end and the Flyers can get hemmed in for days
