Really ? - Myers has been playing great this year . I don't expect him to be a physical force . Not his game . I want him rushing the puck and using his reach on defense . Which he is doing . Does not have to be a physical presence . Don't want him to be what he is not . Want him to do what he is best at . His game is fine .

Yeah, those turnovers at his own blueline are evidence. So are those turnovers at the other teams blueline. seriously are you watching the guy wearing 57 or what? Mezaros, Benoit and Meyers have been god-awful this year. Its pretty bad when Mike Weber is ourperforming all 3 of them and Gorges has been by far our most consistent D and that's not saying much. Ristolainen is invisible out there, too.

Also, Max Afennisgenov.

So much for those 5-4 exciting games. Seven goals in five games. Who would even want to go to the arena this year?

Bro we have 4 goals in 4 games. So stahp.

Oh well. The Sabres need to be losing to the teams behind them in the standings anyway.

On another note, I don't have cable/satellite so I watch the games on a stream and I picked up the Florida broadcast. My god their announcers are morons. They see a Florida guy blatantly trip one of our guys then complain immediately about a non-high stick call. At least the Buffalo guys call the game without too much bias. They were praising the Florida team tonight as if they were playing the best team in the NHL, it was very laughable.

Coach Theo is certainly bringing out the best in him...and Stafford, isn't he? Those mythical first rounders that GM's are lining up to give Tim Murray for these two are going to look sweet.

Wait did you just say Weber is out performing Myers?

And you asked if other people were watching?

I don't have the energy for this....

Have you ever picked up a Boston Bruins feed of a Bruins game?! Like all announcers he calls it as he sees it.

Don't type that.... Someone will point out the 444 posts (or crossbar) that were hit that saved our goalies ass.

I'm watching the Detroit/Toronto game and the players from Detroit do this weird thing with the puck and their stick (giggity) they actually move the puck to their teammates with the stick and then that teammate moves the puck back to them with their stick. It's like they have skills that our team does not.

I actually only asked if he or she was watching, since he or she is who I quoted but yes, I think Weber has looked slightly less crap than Myers this year. I just don't see anything worth praise in Myers' game. He looks like a D version of Vanek. Idk. I want to see the kid take over a game, not go with the flow. He's been in the league for what, 5 years? He almost flat out refuses to shoot the puck, especially on the powerplay and its baffling.

5 Games in and lining up to jump of the Peace Bridge . Good thing is I don't have to go to Toronto threads to see people crying . Take a year off from watching hockey . Get a hobby because . This what it is going to be all year . Almost like TM the GM planned it .

To quote Harry Neale, his play-calling was "ham-bone". And I don't expect anything from anyone from Boston, ever. WASP a-hole's. I used to work with a dude from Boston and he literally told me that Justin Timberlake is "The best thing going for pop music right now" and my head almost exploded.
