If I still lived on LI I'd go to every single game I could! I hope it's a good-sized crowd tonight and I hope they are loud from the start! GO ISLANDERS!!

I was at the preseason game vs Devils. A LOT of Brooklyn kids & parents. Growing up in massapequa, I can tell who's from LI and who's not. I don't think the they will have a problem with attendance, if the team makes the playoffs this year. Much easier to market.

You can tell the difference huh? . Its a novelty just like the rangers are at the garden for 50% of thwir attendance which is fine. My point being is long island is a viable hockey market as long as you put a decent product on the ice. All this team has put their fans through I understand some more casual fans being hesitant. I dont care if tickets are two dollars nobody wants to waste their time watching garbage.

Ticketmaster must have 6k seats available they will have 9-11k tonight! If tonight's game was in BK, I would of gone with my sharks fan friend. Like most weekday games, I get out of work at 530pm by time I walk to subway take train its about 7pm when I get home then another 15 min drive w/o traffic to coliseum. I hate the move to BK, if it was in BK tonight 300k LI people who work in the city would be able to get there by 7pm w/o a problem.vI used to go to weekday games but around 05-06 they changed start times from 7:30pm, to 7 and that ended it, I barely got there by 730 7pm is not possible.

Beginning to become less of a fan of martin with each game. That line had one shift they started hitting right after scott leveled grabovski then went back to their useless ways soon after. How about beating the shat out of the guy martin instead of gliding around like youre going to score thirty this year. Capuano having them out against the sharks first line multiple times isnt so bright. Other than that the rest of the team played great. They'll get one by this guy eventually. Keep at it boys!
