My great grandfather was in the OSS and was in Germany as a spy for portions of the war as he spoke perfect German so I hear ya.

That is all we know of what he did as he passed in like 67. My great grandmother called a number to say he had passed and all that was said on the other line was thank you ma'am and thank you for your service.


Another side note a retired police officer friend of mine has stated that Auschwitz was his ancestry's property that was taken from them when they fled the country.

Duff and Peters mentioned today on Hockey Hotline that Pysyk could get sent down, moreso to get some extra training under his belt since he missed a good chunk of training camp with the injury. So, for now, I wouldn't read too much into it. Could be more of a conditioning stint than anything.

All sort of sucks my Grandpa Schlanger was the largest tobacco manufacturer in Germany. I mean they were rich . My mom used to tell me about their vacation estate in Switzerland . Crappy thing was after the Nuremburg trials . She got like 5 thousand in what were called equalization payments . . My Grandpa was worth 10's of millions before the third reich. Between the Nazi's and the Swiss everything was lost . The swiss were as dirty as the nazis . He had lots of money in Swiss banks that disappeared. Me and my brothers still have the agency in Europe trying to track the money . Have not heard from them in a few years. Happened to lots of jews that did survive.

There are few posts on twitter about him being unhappy with the knights organization but nothing from a credible source.

I just don't get the rationale, if he's not playing and he's not injured and you're not shopping him, why is he sitting around doing nothing in the press box.

I don't understand Pysyk being sent down.

He has waiver exemption. Also helps us in renegotiating a favorable contract coming out of ELC if he hasnt had much time in NHL.
