Of course it does . We are in a Buffalo fan forum . Can't see the positive ( not a goal ) only the negative.

on a crappy team such as this GAA is not a fair stat for evaluating a goalie.. but yes it still wont matter and it very well could end over 4
- IndianaSabresFan

The number that will be most significant in evaluating the two goalies this year is going to be sv%. That will be a better number to compare the two with.

A) Hitting the post is not scoring a goal, and that's all the matters; but

B) If they were missing after trying to beat him up top, wouldn't they be hitting the cross-bar, not the posts?

Not In Buffalo - Get that common sense stuff out of here !

Only 1 week in. It will change. Goes by win points and then total points for the tie breaker

imo sv% is always the best way to evaluate a goalie by numbers.. but nothing can beat watching them and seeing how they see the puck and move in the net..

Just reminds me of that idiot at WGR who claims he does not have to watch games . He can look at the stat sheets and know everything !

Send Neuvirth to the avs. A decent UFA that isn't much of a risk for them..gotta love random trade thoughts

Varly has the groin that they believe isn't too serious and Reto Berra got hurt last night in their game. I havent heard anything on that yet

Only way to really treat a groin injury with a goalie is rest . Maybe they talk Giguere out of retirement ?

I would guess this is why he's still here but not playing.

Can someone shed some light for me on why the Sabres are keeping Zadorov around only to scratch him? Any insight would be helpful.

Edit: Perhaps I should have just read the posts above me.

Hahaha the KHL-basically a professional mens league. No dumps, no forecheck/backcheck.

Do you think the KHL is better for his development than juniors?

I'd assume the risks are that he forms bad habits and would possibly stay long term, but at least he's not playing against kids

London should trade to Ice dogs , So Buffalo can keep a better eye on him . Saint Catherines does not have a big nite life either. So he does not have temptation.
