I know, but he's gotta be pissed being stuck on this team. I can't even imagine what it's felt like being an Oiler fan these past past few years. I know the Canucks are cupless, but constantly finishing last is something I haven't experienced since I've become a hockey fan. I guess it must feel like the Canucks season last year multiplied by 5 or 6.

Doubt it, a lot of young players these days probably prefer going to the team where they'll get the most minutes right away. Schultz chose EDM over VAN with that being one of the main reasons.

Its something like that thats going to wake up thisbullpoop organization to make immediate blockbuster deals to change the complexion of this team, and not just hope McDavid solves our problems at centre next year. This is absolutely pathetic.

Oilers suck, yes. If we had to break it down, which players do you think have played the absolute worst on our roster. I personally believe that we need to rid ourselves of Justin Schultz and his lackadaisical style of play. If i could pick ONE guy to punt and replace it would be him. If ference didnt have the C, he'd be right behind him.

There is no reason why this team should even be in the discussion for McDavid and maybe some people will hate on me but if we do finish in the bottom I hope we dont get him coz we should really stop being rewarded for being a bad team....we have been "rewarded" 3 years in a row....how many more do we need?

You say that but look at the blue jackets since he joined them...he is solid on d and a leader. a real steadying force on that team

I can't watch schultz in our dzone anymore. He's supposed to have all this offensive upside, yet ive NEVER seen him break the puck out himself. I watch guys like Gio/Doughty/Karlson and to a lesser extent Hamilton, break the puck out by using their speed. Yet i watch schultz blow break out after break out because he makes a poor 1st pass up the wall or into the middle.
