I think a new coach is needed. Would be nice to get a whole new D corps as well.

But obviously the way they have been coached is not working against anyone. Their defensive zone coverage is abysmal, seems like all the players are playing tag and the guy with the puck is it.

Offensively they have looked fine for the most part, their forecheck has been half decent, all their lines have been getting some good chances really even if they are not finishing very well.

But all in all, they need someone that can teach the players how to defend, because right now whatever their game plan is, it is flawed.

I am embarrassed to be a fan, have been for years, I can't even put them as a favorite team for anything anymore, I just get laughed out the building when they know I am an Oilers fan.

Maybe he isn't 100% and gave him a break since he would be playing back to back nights. Some people are actually stupid enough to believe that whatever is said by a team to the media about a player, is 100% the truth, 100% of the time. Those are even better odds than Sex Panther getting JB a booby to lick, no touch, no look at.

It's 3 games in. If after the 20 game mark, they are no where near better points wise than they were last year, then lets start the tank talk.
