I think Savard is still being paid by the Bruins too...for another 3 more seasons. The guys a class act and was a great player so no one really brings it up while they love to bring up Pronger in cap circumvention discussions.

I don't see him as a top 9 winger on this team. Not saying he's a spare part, just don't see him as a fit. He's extremely streaky (went I think 17 games last year without a goal) and doesn't seem to have a spot when Step comes back. RFA that is making 2.25 and will want around 3. Most goals 17 and most pts 38 in a season. Unless u put him with Nash-Step-Hags.
