the shootouts are awful. there really is no way around that. that would have me very frustrated. i dont understand why some guys on this team cant translate evident skill into that. voracek for example.

We literally throw away points from the shootout. I know a lot of guys around here write it off but as long as its a thing it needs to be practiced. Just like anything else. The fact that G is the only guy on the team that can do anything on a free breakaway is infuriating.

I'm not sure I'd say they honestly could have won all four. The Boston game should have gone OT, and the Habs game should have been a win.

I'd say they probably deserve to have one win and one more OT point.

i think jake is basically fleury in reverse. you give jake a breakaway in a game and i think he would have the hands to get it done. read is another one. I understand simmonds game may not translate as well, but still. its not even like mason gets shelled. he does well enough to at least break even most nights.

I think the shootout thing ties back to the fact that this franchise for some reason shys away from pure wingers, who tend to be the crazy stick skill type guys.

Ugh. This team badly needs to acquire a top 6 LW.
