That looked bad, not sure it was worth a penalty, though

Nik tripped... no idea how the officials saw that though... from behind it looked like a board.

Kesler didn't do anything. Grossmann lost his balance and then nicked the skate of Kesler as he was wobbling

Agreed. And that replay shows it. No way Kesler couldve avoided that.

There's a good example of Grossman just behind the times and failing to keep up with the speed of the game. Guy has anchors for skates

I absolutely thought it was -- Kesler can't get a stick into the guy heading full-speed into the boards, face first, and not wrap him up. Grossmann didn't even have the puck

Agreed. I wouldn't move Couturier easily, quality pk/shutdown centers are valuable, but he's not untouchable.

And down goes Grossmann, yup hello lottery

- BiggE

And by me saying that I'm not villianizing anyone, just looking at this from a business perspective. Hey we wanna hang on to the schenns and coots well we might be in for a real bumpy road. Now I'm not saying move ALL either but let's do something here, we have a heckuva goalie, and some pretty good players upfront... Why squander their careers?

you know their attack would be 5 guys in a straight line so not one person is open for a pass. they would force the pass anyway, and break the other way for a goal
