My first thought was the old Sega Genesis NBA Jam announcer

"is it the shoes?"

So Bozie is on pace for 82 goals...can you imagine what he could do with a couple legitimate 1st line wingers?

Percy had possibly been our best d-man, 3 games in.

Post 666 👹

- Feeling Glucky?

He's barely been noticeable, yet still playing big minutes... I like.

I had previously described him as having the potential to be J-Bo lite, and although only three games, he's certainly looking good.

Only in Toronto.
Gardiner was garbage against the pens.....he should have been sat. Good decision by RC.
He's not going to sit Phaneuf (unfortunately)...so who do you sit? Percy cant be sat yet...Polak has played decent, Robidas is still getting his legs.

I don't think so.

Reimer was solid, Bernier had looked pretty week and says his knee is still bugging him. Play Reimer.

They drew straws.... it wasn't based on performance.

Gardiner wasn't the worst against the pens.

Just none of you (frank)ers forget that I coined the name StuPerMan before any of the media (frank)wads get a hold of it.

gardiner has played like poop so far

my guess is he was thinking too much after getting the big payday.. or.. like a lot of young guys just needed to sit and watch a game from the press box..

its not a big deal at all

to be fair it was hard to pick a worst. Like letting 23 guys poop in your yap and then asking which was was the worst? like they were all pretty (frank)ing gross.

Steve Kasper was the bench master

1st Neely and Stevens

then Tocchet?

Cherry bombs blast Kasper Former Bruins coach makes feelings known on Tocchet benching

The Boston Globe (Boston, MA)
December 2, 1996 | Nancy L. Marrapese, Globe Staff | Copyright

Despite the Bruins' efforts to put the Rick Tocchet benching incident behind them, the reverberations continued Saturday night when former Bruins coach Don Cherry, now a TV broadcaster and host of "Coaches' Corner" on "Hockey Night in Canada," ripped into Boston coach Steve Kasper for sitting out Tocchet against the Flyers last Tuesday night.

Cherry, whose colorful commentary is often as vitriolic as it is outrageous, long has targeted Kasper, dating back to the latter's playing career. Last year, Cherry was all over Kasper about sitting Cam Neely on the bench, along with Kevin Stevens, during a game in Toronto. Cherry said then that if Kasper were going to bench someone, he shouldn't dress them.

Do you really believe that? That's the most "coach" answer of all time right after "we played hard."

In this article, it confirms what you are saying.

http://www.torontosun.com...h-same-lineup-against-avs

Right after it referencing the "short straw", it quotes #51:

“I talked to Randy and we both agreed I wasn’t playing like I should be,” Gardiner said. “So I sat out. That’s how it goes."
