Every goalie lets in bad goals. Quick, Miller, ect but when a Toronto goalie lets in a bad goal they are Toskala.

You're overreacting, its been 3 games but I do agree that he hasn't exactly been a perfect fit in his time here. The problem is that with Rielly here(who is going to have a way better career than Gardiner), it's hard for a bad defensive team like Toronto to constantly play 2 d men in the lineup who aren't good in their own end. (Gardiner and Rielly).

Rielly is bad defensively only bcuz of his age and inexperience. He is not a one dimensional player like gardiner

Hey Burn....I think Reimer should start until he loses or a back to back comes up. He's earned it...nothing to do with sav%, we won a game...lets keep it rolling. Same as Franson...why would we sit him when 1st game in..he scores/ he played 1/2 decent in both ends...regardless of your opinion..( I'm allowed 1 too )

He had 19 wins...and a couple good playoff games

Team played AWFUL those two games. Like you are judging Reimer on a 22 game stint in a quarter season, it prob isn't right to judge Bernier on 2 games when he was clearly the better goalie last year. It's his net.

Both goalies are good with Bernier being the better one, but he hasn't played that great so far.
Some Leaf fans have a little Chubb for Jesus boy.
As long as Reimer doesn't choke like he has the past couple of seasons and he plays well consistently, than that's all we ask.
As long as the leafs win.....doesn't matter to me who's in the net

We should have beat Montreal, Pacioretty's goal was UGLY. Reimer has proven he can win games...doesn't mean he's better or worse..but let him go on a run. The NHL has lots of goalies who weren't though much of who came in and went on big runs when they weren't supposed to. Bernier wasn't ready early in 2 out of 2 IMO. Not saying he played bad both games but we need wins.

He got consistently worse the longer he had to wait in between starts. We'll see what happens this year. If they give Bernier the bulk of the starts and he wears down again it'll get ugly.

He got injured.
Plus he faced the 7th most shots in the league and only played 55 games in his first full season.
Had he played 4 more games like every goalie ahead (59-63 games played)of him he would have definitely been 2nd

facing 36 shots a night doesn't help. that's probably the reality for this season too though.

Except that's Save Percentage, not Goals Against Average...

And up until Christmas, Reimer's SV% was .925 and Bernier's was .929...

Are those stats facts or what?

Just let reimer start the next game so he can fail and we can all go back to loving bernier and each other.
