I could care less who plays nets to be honest...I hope Reimer grabs the reins and runs with it.
- Garnie

Bernier is better but it would be nice to have two good goalies.

Bernier is the guy who lets in shots from the red line
- daeth

yes I know

it's the other saves he makes that are pretty

I could care less....lets just win...but stats don't make a player...too many variables IMO.

We should all be happy today! The Bruin's lost to the Aves (a team who hadn't even scored a goal all season).

the B's are 1-3 who expected that?

Bernier doesn't let in weak ones.

Bernier has one good half season and we forget that Reimer has played just as well in the past too.
- daeth

Bernier had a great 3/4 season.
Reimer had a decent 22 games over a season ago.

Reimer played well last night, but the team in front of him also finally played much better than they against a New York team that hurting and was a complete mess. King Henry had a horrible game....I guess that means he should be the back up
- Fakepartofme

There was one soft goal scored against the Leafs last night... and it wasn't on Reimer

So who played against who?..who faced harder shots, Obviously somebody thinks Bernier is the better goalie regardless of the stats above. Every shift has a different variable...Bernier gets scored on with a perfect shot and Reimer gets scored on from the red line...their stats are even...so they are both at the same talent level?
- Garnie

reimer started like 65% of the games in the lockout year..... clearly he faced only weak ass teams and backup goalies. Much easier time on the Leafs with terrible defense in front of him VS Bernier who played on cup winning team as a backup and faced lesser competition.

Good?

Bernier is the number 1 until he loses it.
He'll be back in the net next game....but he has to play better

- Fakepartofme

Like I said last night. He's going to have to play a whole lot worse behind a poopty team to lose the job. Better tender will stay in.

Yeah maybe, seems a majority of people who have watched them both play think Bernier is better. I'm sure Reimer could have been had by any team in the NHL for a fairly decent price...but he's still in T.O.
- Garnie

Good news, Leafs are going to need him.

Same here. I believe Bernier is much better for rebound control. I also think, I'm not sure yet, but I think he will be better when under pressure, in big games, where Reimer have failed.

I saw it coming. The B's stopped skating the last min and Colorado hit the post with 20 or so seconds left.
