Up until this season their stats were very similar, I believe Reimer's save percentage was .04 better while Bernier gaa was better by .31.
Up until this year Bernier had a much more calming affect on the team , his positioning, composer, rebound control and glove were all better than Reimer 's.....according to almost every scout and analyst that has ever discussed it.

Meh...we need to play better on the ice. When I see them busting it every game and we still lose..I will blame RC. He hasn't had a lot to work with. Franson/Rielly/Gardiner/Ranger. I could keep plugging plugs in here that I've seen on our D. Once we have a 1/2 decent lineup and we fail then I would blame RC 100%. I think we will turn it around this year...IF Franson and Gardiner play 1/2 decent defensively...just need them to be 1/2 decent...but it's JMO

His thoughts on Reimer I 1/2 get behind..I do like Reimer..I just think we went out and got a little better goalie even if the stats don't show it yet.

So who played against who?..who faced harder shots, Obviously somebody thinks Bernier is the better goalie regardless of the stats above. Every shift has a different variable...Bernier gets scored on with a perfect shot and Reimer gets scored on from the red line...their stats are even...so they are both at the same talent level?

Reimer played well last night, but the team in front of him also finally played much better than they against a New York team that hurting and was a complete mess. King Henry had a horrible game....I guess that means he should be the back up

Yeah maybe, seems a majority of people who have watched them both play think Bernier is better. I'm sure Reimer could have been had by any team in the NHL for a fairly decent price...but he's still in T.O.

Bernier has one good half season and we forget that Reimer has played just as well in the past too.

We should all be happy today! The Bruin's lost to the Aves (a team who hadn't even scored a goal all season).
