I'm not sure he will ever be great in the d zone, but he puts dudes on their asses, and he hits the net with his shots... If he puts up 40-45 points and is a minus 5 I can live with that, although if RC is smart he can use him in such a way as to lessen his responsibilities in his own end...

I didn't think he looked bad I his own zone last especially considering he's just getting into the game after an injury.

The fact is Kessel scored 82 points..the stats don't mean he's better than somebody who scored 81.
