Habs are a great comeback team. They'll lock this one up
- PhillySportsGuy

You'll laugh, but the Habs actually haven't looked that bad. Can see why they came back against the Flyers

Lightning just have a really good team. Stamkos and Hedman have just been in Beast Mode all night. Stamkos could legitimately have six goals -- he has maybe 10 or 11 SOG

Flyers better trade Braydn Schenn before he has no value . Just keep him at center....they'll ruin him like the leafs ruined Luke

I would, because they have enough wingers now to support it.

For now, I'd go:

Raffl-Giroux-Voracek
Jones-Schenn-Simmonds
Read-Couturier-Umberger
Rinaldo-Bellemare-Akeson

Then, when Vinny returns and if everyone else is healthy, I'd go:

Raffl-Giroux-Voracek
Bellemare-Schenn-Simmonds
Read-Couturier-Akeson
Rinaldo-Lecavalier-Umberger

Schenn's line and Lecavalier's line would split starts in the neutral zone and offensive zones, and they could each play 12-14 minutes per night, more if they're going well

Giroux's line and Couturier's line would continue as they are

They won't do it, and that's their prerogative. I'm just a guy on a laptop. But if Schenn's funk continues, you have to try something else. If you don't want to trade him, and he's not productive at LW, then you have to try something else

HA!

Man, I'm just a little frustrated that they're going to put the pressure on Bellemare to center Simmonds and Schenn -- I recognize he's 29 and not afraid of the responsbility, but I'm still in the mode of "Yeah, they're 0-2-1, but I want them to make the playoffs."

Bellemare looks good in the minutes he's played, but the Flyers need the second line to score. That's pressure. I don't know that Bellemare can't handle it, but it's bad enough that Schenn looks like he may never score again. Putting a guy in his fourth NHL game up against guys like Ryan Kesler and Ryan Getzlaf just isn't something I would do

Yeah, it's a questionable move, I'm guessing Berube's placating Vinny as much as he's telling Schenn to suck it up

Yeah. I hope it works. The Ducks did play today, so maybe the Flyers might be able to get off to a fast start, steal two points.

Because that is one stacked roster

Ha! I think that's as balanced as they can make the lines and pretend like you'll get some defensive play on each

It'd be awesome if they can catch the Ducks and grab a win. They need something to get confident about.

I don't think buffalo tired them out too much
Stamkos himself had more shots on goal tonight then the entire Sabres line up

Saw somewhere that the Sabres have been outshot 134-57 so far this year.
