no i say tank this year, they already are....not sure about you but i would swap our whole team for colorados right now and if picking 3rd every other does it then sobeit
- mydoglicks

I would never suggest they tank but I will say I think everything they've done suggests they are. They didn't do anything to make the team better and the few moves they made actually made it worse.

Even the most optimistic poster on this thread thinks they pick up a measly 7 pts out of 20 in the first month. Where do you go from there? You start selling is where you go. They could be 10 pts out of a playoff spot by November 1st. How many teams resurrect from that?

For the record, I hate the Philadelphia fans who are only happy (and only show up on boards like this) when they have something to complain about.

I think Hextall is sticking to his plan. He knows this team isn't a cup contender. Why bring up a prospect when he wants them to keep developing so when this team is ready they are prepared. He could look to shed some players at the TDL. Maybe a team takes on Grossmann. He could have value to a team needing size and exerience on the back end for playoffs. Look what Pitt gave up for Murray. I think Grossmann is better then Murray. Lane McDermid got the stars a 6th round pick couldn't Rinaldo fech a 5th or 4th. I think this year we could see moves where players are movd or he tries to start shedding spots for our youngsters to come up. Maybe he brings in a guy like Burmistrov in a trade. A player in KHL tht WPG has his rights but might be ready to move. I really think we will see some crafty moves this season

I can think of one recent team.

Last year, the Flyers were 10 points out of the wildcard on November 1st.

When I played Fantasy Football, I had one rule and one rule only: Never, ever, will there be a Dallas Cowboy on my team. Ever.

It's not, but at the same time, they're better with him currently in the lineup than without him in it. Shortest midget syndrome.

they lose with him in the line up lose without it makes no difference

They lost by 1 goal with him to a vastly superior team. That's enough of an example for you that he's no good to the team?

You are a (frank)ing tool.

I'm the guy who has been saying all along they're a bubble team and got shredded for "pessimism" before the season started. But using an example that happened to this very team just last year is a bit much
