Wow.... This game was about as close to perfection that I've ever seen. It was like the eagles had the giants playbook. Solid relief after last weeks stl breakdown and 3 crap games from the flyers.

Someone suggested a Brayden Schenn for ANdrew Ladd deal a few days ago, How about both Schenns for Ladd & Paul Postma?

Gives the Flyers about $1mm in cap help, adds a guy who is a more natural winger and Postma is a solid 4/5, righty shooter, capable two way defender.

Very interesting offer. I like Ladd a lot but I'm not so sure the Jets are looking to move their captain. A 6'3" 205lb defensively sound natural LW would really good on our top line though.

He's good for 50 points a year on the Jets. Gotta imagine he'd push 65 with G and Jake. I'd take that trade.

Hmm. He's only signed through next season. I think you need to get something else back in the deal as well. Postma or some picks would do.

I think its an offer the Jets should definitely consider though. I just dont think they'll trade their Captain.

How quickly the Schenns have become expendable. I don't do this trade. The solution is not to trade our youth. Period. Especially for an older player on a short term deal and a 5/6 25 year old with less upside then Luke. If that is all those guys bring back then no thanks.

I think Craig Berube thinks whatever we get back for the Schenn brothers would be a steal.

Pass. Put Postma in the same spot where Luke Schenn is and there would be the same problems.

I keep stating the same thing. Review the video of every goal that Luke Schenn has been on the ice for, and tell me where he screwed up?

The expendable part is only in the minds of some fans. I agree with you.

You keep stating it because no one cares. In general - Luke is too slow and he lacks hockey smarts. He's just not worth the $3.6 million price tag.

I do agree you don't trade him for Postma though.
